Reitchel and Przybilla Earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

GORHAM, Maine  -  Senior Riley Reitchel (Palermo, Maine/Erskine Academy) and sophomore Meghan Przybilla (St. Anthony, Minn./St. Anthony's) of the 2025 Little East Conference Champion University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's soccer team have each been selected to the United Soccer Coaches Division III District 1 All-Region team.  Both Reitchel and Przybilla have been chosen for the All-Region second team.

Now a two-time All-Region forward, earning third team honors in 2023, Reitchel is a two-time All-Little East Conference selection (2023, 2025) earning second team all-conference honors this season. Helping power the Huskies' offense, Reitchel had 10 goals and seven assists in her final season for 27 points. Scoring three game-winning goals this season, all three came against Little East Conference opponents, including winners against Eastern Connecticut (3-0) and Plymouth State (5-1).  Scoring her third game-winner of the season in a 4-2 win over UMass Boston in the quarterfinals of the LEC tournament, Reitchel finished her outstanding career third all-time in career points for the Huskies, Reitchel has 32 goals and 23 assists in 79 career games. Finishing her Southern Maine soccer career as a four-time conference champion, Reitchel was the 2023 LEC Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. A Linguistics major, Reitchel is a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District student-athlete.

Earning All-Region honors for the first time in her career, Przybilla, the 2025 LEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, is a two-time all-LEC selection, repeating as a second team pick in the Huskies' midfield in 2025.  Playing in all 24 games and starting 23, Przybilla led the Huskies' offensive with 13 goals and 11 assists for 37 points, including three game-winning goals. Dominant in conference play, Przybilla notched 21 of her 37 points against Little East opponents, and in the run-up to the Huskies' 2025 Little East crown, she had one goal and three assists. First in the Little East in goals (13), assists (11) and points (37), Przybilla was among the NCAA Division III leaders in each category.  In 45 career games, Przybilla has 18 goals and 18 assists for 54 career points. Her 18 assists are currently tied for fourth in USM records, while her 54 points are ninth all-time. Przybilla is a Mechanical Engineering major, and was recently named to the CSC Academic All-District team.

Making its fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, Southern Maine is the back-to-back-to-back-to-back Little East Conference Tournament Champions (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). During the last four seasons, Southern Maine has had a record of 59-20-9 overall and 24-3-5 in Little East Conference action.
