GORHAM, Maine - As part of the University's Homecoming and Family Weekend (October 3-6), the Huskies' baseball team is welcoming back its alumni to Ed Flaherty Field for its 2024 Alumni game.

The Huskies' baseball alumni game is one of several Department of Athletic events occurring during Homecoming Weekend, including the Ed Flaherty & Al Bean Celebration that will take place the evening of October 5 (6:00 pm) at the Italian Heritage Center. Recognizing the outstanding legacy of both Ed Flaherty & Al Bean, both recently retired from their roles as Huskies' baseball coach and Athletic Director, respectively, both Flaherty and Bean's contributions to the University span decades of leadership and dedication. The event will also serve as a fundraising for the Huskies' Degifico Hitting Complex.
Huskies' baseball will also host an exhibition doubleheader on Sunday, October 6 (10:00 am) against Northern Essex Community College. Huskies' baseball will also have two former standouts inducted into the 2024 Husky Hall of Fame. Hosted at the Italian Heritage Center at 5 pm, former Southern Maine greats Nick Grady '14 and Ryan Adams '03 will be inducted as part of the Class of 2024.
