McKim Named CCM/AHCA Women’s Division III All-American

GORHAM, Maine – Senior goaltender Haley McKim (Moncton, New Brunswick/Mount Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's ice hockey team has been selected as an All-American by American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA). A total of 24 student-athletes were named CCM Hockey/AHCA All-Americans by the AHCA on Thursday night ahead of the 2024 NCAA Division III Frozen Four. McKim earned East Second Team honors.

McKim is the third player in program history to earn All-America honors. Former Huskies' goalie Karen Jamnik '04 was the first All-American for Southern Maine following the 2001-02 season. Forward Holly Manning '05 earned All-American status for the 2002-03 season. Both Jamnik and Manning earned second team honors.

McKim earned the third New England Hockey Conference Goaltender of the Year award of her career following her record-breaking 2023-24 season. Her seven shutouts and .958 save percentage this season are both program records. She also broke Jamnik's records for career shutouts and career saves. She holds a career record of 40-32-3 with 16 shutouts and 2382 saves.

A Health Sciences major, McKim has also excelled off the ice as two-time NEHC All-Academic Team member, a two-time William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete, a 2022-23 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association All-American Scholar, and 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection.
