GORHAM, Maine – Graduate student Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team was selected as the Little East Conference Player of the Week. This is her first weekly award of the season. Levin placed fifth on Sunday at the Southern Maine Community College Invitational with a 92 (+19) at the Purpoodock Club in Cape Elizabeth.

Sunday's event was suspended due to darkness before all the competitors could complete their round. As a result, the team scoring was modified to include just the first 16 holes. The individual medalist scoring was modified to only include the competitors who finished all 18 holes. Levin's 16-hole score for the team standings was 82.

The Huskies will compete at the Keene State Invitational on Tuesday at Keene Country Club.
