GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine men's track & field team will be looking to win their third consecutive Little East Conference Indoor title on Saturday at the 2026 LEC Championships in Plymouth N.H. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:00 am at Plymouth State's Bank of New Hampshire Field House at ALLWell North. The Huskies have won 16 total indoor conference championships.
The Huskies have two student-athletes who won titles at last year's meet in junior
Cyrus Evans (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) and senior
Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine/Messalonskee). Evan placed first in the 600 meters with a personal-best time of 1:23.58, while D'Amico won the conference title in the pole vault.
Seniors
Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H) and
Christian Burke (York, Maine) also have indoor conference titles on their resumes. Cahill won the 400m title in 2024 as a sophomore and Burke was the high jump co-champion in 2023. Cahill currently has the best 400m time in the conference at 50.02 seconds. Burke ranks second in the pole vault at 4.55m and seventh in the high jump with a mark of 1.93m.
Freshman
Dylan Courtney (Hampden, Maine/Hampden Academy) also enters the meet as the conference leader in an event with a mark of 4.60m in the pole vault. The Huskies hold the top three positions on the conference leaderboard for the event with Burke and D'Amico in second and third. Two additional team members, senior
Jon Dalessandro (Westbrook, Maine) and freshman
Camden Brown (Veazie, Maine/Orono), are among a group of athletes tied for fourth.
The Huskies also have the top 4x800 relay time in the conference with a time of 8:22.21 by freshman

Preston Gerry (Gray, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester), junior
Aidan Pecoraro (Westbrook, Maine) and freshman
Harry Dunne (Hollis Center, Maine/Bonny Eagle).
Sophomore
Marcus Tillery (Windham, Maine) and senior
Michael Cyr (Caribou, Maine) are additional Huskies to watch in the track events. Tillery ranks second in the conference in the 200 meters with a converted time of 22.76 seconds and third in the 60-meter dash with a converted time of 7.08 seconds. Cyr ranks fourth in both the 3000 meters (9:00.72) and 5000 meters (15:43.43).
Freshman
Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine), sophomore
Tim Bowler (Danvers, Mass) and freshman
Tyler Bryant (South Portland, Maine) each hold top five rankings in field events entering the conference championship. Paradis is second in the conference in the shot put with a program record mark of 16.49m that ranks 22nd nationally. Bryant is tied for fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.95m. Bowler ranks fifth in the weight throw at 15.73m.
The Huskies are currently ranked seventh in the NCAA DIII East region in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings.
