GORHAM, Maine  –  University of Southern Maine Huskies' graduate student 
Bryce Lausier (Glenburn, Maine/Hampden Academy) has been named D3hoops.com Region 2 Second Team All-Region.  The accolade is the third of the post-season for the Huskies' forward who recently was named first team All-Maine Men's Basketball Coaches & Writers Association and All-Little East Conference First Team. Lausier's spot on the D3hoops.com All-Region team marks the first time since the 2002-2003 season that a member of the Huskies' men's basketball team has earned all-region status. 
 
Scoring in double-figures in each of his 25 games played, Lausier racked up 19 double-doubles during the season averaging a remarkable 22.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.  Ranked third in NCAA Division III statistics for double-doubles, and second in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (10.40), Lausier set career-highs in scoring with 34 points against UMass Boston (January 8, 2025) and rebounding with 20 against Concordia (Texas) (December 29, 2024).  Lausier hit the 20-point barrier 16 times, and had five game with at least 30 points throughout the season.
 
Southern Maine finished the 2024-25 season with a 12-14 overall record and an 8-8 mark in Little East Conference action.  Earning the fifth seed in the Little East Conference tournament, Southern Maine qualified for the conference playoffs for the fourth consecutive season.
