GORHAM, Maine - On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the University of Southern Maine Athletics Department will participate in Giving Tuesday, a virtual giving event where our Husky fans, friends, community members and families rally around our student-athletes to support their co-curricular experience. 

Each team has individual fundraising goals for the day but the team with the most donors wins! This fundraising event is a key resource for team travel, equipment, team-building activities, and more. We hope you'll consider making a gift to your favorite team or to USM athletics generally this GivingTuesday!

Athletics are a valuable part of the University of Southern Maine community —and an large piece of  campus life. Supporting 23 NCAA Division III Intercollegiate teams and nearly 500 student-athletes, the Huskies' Department of Athletics also hosts USM ESports and Recreation/Intramural Sports in its umbrella.

Just as Southern Maine's academic curriculum, internship experiences and campus activities play a critical role in developing leaders, intercollegiate and intramural/club athletics, and Esports allow students to develop resiliency, communication skills, leadership characteristics, time management skills, and more while forming life-long connections to their peers and campus members,  Your donations, whatever the amount, gives Huskies' Athletics the means to provide an exceptional experience for our student-athletes.
