How It Happened:
- Pappalardo won the opening faceoff and forced a turnover behind the Salve Regina net after the puck was dumped in. - Grondin's second goal came 8:48 into the second period to give the Huskies the lead. Grondin collected a loose puck and shot it over the Salve Regina goalie after Pappalardo tied up the opposing center on the faceoff.
- Logan Calder tied the game once again with 3:41 left in period with Karsten Kruska and Jonathan Hammel assisting on the goal.
- Penton made 17 saves in the third period to keep the game tied. Bailey made six saves on the other end of the ice.
- The Huskies had the majority of the scoring chances in overtime and put six shots on goal before Sullivan scored the game-winner. Simopoulos drove back his opponent on the faceoff which allowed Sullivan to grab the puck and attack the net to beat Bailey and give the Huskies an overtime win of the second consecutive game.
