How It Happened:
- Connor Bertamini gave the Falcons a 1-0 late in the first period and the hosts entered the first intermission with the lead.
- The Huskies tied the game quickly in the second period when fifth-year senior Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) collected a loose puck and took it across to blueline to step up a three-on-two with Pollara and Donovan at his side. Marini passed to Pollara to then fed Donavan a pass that he blasted into the net to tie the game.
- Sullivan then scored to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead off a feed by Arend. Simopoulos also picked up an assist.
- Almbertus Magnus came from behind with three goals in the first seven minutes of the third period. Andrew Van Antwerp tied the game at 2-2 on a power-play goal that was assisted by Robert Barrasso and Peter Keese. Tim Manning then made the AMC lead 3-2 and Dann extended it to 4-2.
- Simopoulos cut the lead down to 4-3 with 1:04 left by firing the rebound of a Sullivan shot into a wide-open net after the initial shot went wide and bounced off the boards with the Huskies on the power play. However, the late goal was not enough, and hosts held on for a 4-3 win.
