"Homecoming is a great opportunity to welcome our alumni, family, friends and fans onto campus and celebrate the past, present and future of the University of Southern Maine," said Interim Director of Athletics Mike Keller. "Huskies' Athletics embraces the opportunity to host and sponsor a number of events throughout the weekend, including athletic contests, our annual Hall of Fame induction, various social gatherings and our professional development series Husky Pack Chats. Any chance to engage with our alumni is a great time, and it is always enjoyable to relive their memories."

Festivities begin Thursday, October 3 (5:30 pm) as Huskies' men's ice hockey will host its annual Blue & Gold Scrimmage, providing fans an early first look at the 2024-2025 Southern Maine squad. After Husky fans take in hockey up in the USM Ice Arena, they can quickly transition to Hannaford Field for 7:00 pm as Huskies' field hockey hosts Worcester State. Coming off a 2023 Little East Conference Championship season, Southern Maine field hockey is expected to make another run at a title.

Friday kicks off with an alumni heavy Husky Pack Chat: Mocktail Social & Professional Networking event at 4:00 pm, and concludes with a Women's Basketball Alumnae game and a Women's Lacrosse Alumnae Game at 7:00 pm located at Hill Gymnasium and Hannaford Field, respectively. In between, Huskies' track & field will host the newest Homecoming tradition – The Zombie Run – at Shaw Cherry Hill Farm in Gorham, Maine. A free Kids' Run will begin at 6:30 pm followed by the 7:00 pm main event. More details to follow.
