Azam Jiwa (Calgary, Alberta/West Island College) had singles wins for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's tennis team in a 6-3 Little East Conference loss to the Salem State University Vikings on Tuesday afternoon. Weaver and freshman
Zach Lull (Portland, Maine) also won 8-5 at third doubles over Josh Gruber and Michael Muttiah.

Jiwa earned his first win of the season by defeating Kevin Merino-Rivas at No. 4 singles. He won the first set 6-4 and won the second set 7-6 on a 7-5 tie breaker.
Weaver defeated Michael Muttiah 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

Ethan Rudnicki (Levant, Maine/Hermon) won the first set of the No. 5 singles match 6-1 before dropping the next two to Josh Gruber 6-3, 6-0.
