How It Happened:
- Kaeden Patrick gave the hosts a 1-0 lead 4:42 into the game with Jacob Zwirecki and Everett Wardle assisting.
- The Huskies tied the game with a short-handed goal by Hagan about four minutes later.
- Skidmore reclaimed the lead in the second period with a goal from Mason Beecher from Jaden York and Nick Cozzi. The lead was short-lived as Suran tied the game less than two minutes later with assists from senior Zach Ellsworth (Saranac Lake, NY/Northwood School) and junior Mathieu Sabourin (Alexandria, Ontario).
- The Huskies first line of MacDuff, Curtis Judd (Newton, Mass./Albany Academy) and Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) gave the Huskies a 3-2 lead 10:37 into the second with MacDuff netting the goal and his linemates recording the assists.
- Sullivan added an insurance goal in the third period and the Huskies held on for a 4-2 upset victory.
