Series History:
Tonight's game was the 48th meeting between Babson and Southern Maine. Babson leads the all-time series 37-9-2. The team's tied for just the second time in series history in their first meeting this season on November 3.

The Goaltender:
Babson: Mason Rosado (3-1-2), 61:01, three goals allowed, 17 saves
Southern Maine: Kyle Penton (4-5-1), 61:01, four goals allowed, 31 saves

How It Happened:
  • The Huskies took a 1-0 lead 4:46 into the game when Rosado left the net to play a puck behind the goal and freshman Ethan MacDuff (Lloydminster, Alberta) directed the puck towards an empty net where senior Curtis Judd (Newton, Mass./Albany Academy) fished the play for his second goal of the season.
  • The lead was doubled 6:24 into the second when Pollara grabbed a loose puck in the offensive zone and made a move to beat Rosado. Senior Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) provided pressure to force the turnover and picked up the assist.
  • Murphy scored Babson's first goal 1:31 into the third period by elevating the puck over Penton's pads after receiving a backhanded pass from Kennedy.
  • Babson tied the game at 2-2 3:27 later with a power-play goal from Driscoll off the rebound of a Kennedy shot.
  • Pollara scored again one tick under nine minutes remaining after firing a loose puck into the net. Freshman Marcus Torgner (Mjolby, Sweden) had the assist on the goal.
  • Babson once again went on the power-play and Bailey tied the game with a blast from the point with 2:35 left on the clock.
  • Another penalty called on Southern Maine gave the Beavers a man advantage in overtime and Bailey ended the game on a one-timer 1:01 into overtime with assists by Murphy and Charlie Andriole.

Inside The Stats:
  • Babson went 3-for-4 with the man advantage which proved to be the difference maker. Southern Maine did not convert their lone power-play chance.
  • The Beavers had a slight lead in faceoff wins at 29-27.
  • The Huskies blocked 17 shots led by four from sophomore Cole Brennan (Sussex, N.J./ Pomfret School).
