How It Happened:

  • The Panthers scored four straight goals to open the second but saw their lead quickly cut down to just 7-4 as the Huskies ended the half on a 3-0 run thanks to a James goal sandwiched between two from junior Schuyler Wetmore (Cumberland Center, Maine/Greely).
  • In the third quarter Dolcimascolo and Wetmore traded goals to keep the Panther lead at three goals. Fay then put the Panthers ahead 10-5 with back-to-back goals before James countered the feat with two of his own. However, in the final minute of play Fay scored a man-down goal to shift momentum in Plymouth State's favor.
  • Fay added another goal in the first minute of the fourth and the Panthers ended the game on a 5-2 run. Both Dolcimascolo and James scored twice in the final quarter.
