GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to Lesley University at the Costello Sports Complex.
The Lynx swept the doubles portion of the match taking first and second doubles both by scores of 8-2 and winning by default at third doubles. At first doubles the team of junior
Maggie Brock (Plymouth, Mass./Plymouth North) and freshman
Muriel Lattin (Litchfield, Maine) suffered a loss to Kiara Goggin and Lauren Smith. The Terriers also took a win at second doubles and won by forfeit in third doubles.

Maggie Brock and sophomore
Chloe McVetty (Windham, Maine) were defeated 6-0, 6-0 at first and third singles. Freshmen
Muriel Lattin (Litchfield, Maine) and
Madison Viveiros (Cranston, R.I./Cranston East) lost 6-0, 6-1 at second and fourth singles.
The match marked the final non-conference contest of the season for the Huskies as they will resume Little East Conference play on Saturday at Bridgewater State University at 1PM.
