How It Happened/Inside the Boxscore:
- Hullaby gave the Huskies a 1-0 lead 8:55 into the first period by intercepting a Skyhawk pass in the offensive zone and ripping a shot past Day for his second goal of the season.
- Judd doubled the lead with a powerplay goal in the final minute of the second period. His goal was his sixth of the season.
- Junior Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) notched his fifth assist of the season on Judd's goal.
- Stonehill answered with a Max Pineo powerplay goal early in the third period with the assist by William Tripp and Frank Ireland.
- Will Cohen tied the game at 2-2 by redirecting a Carter Rapalje shot past Penton nine minutes into the period.
- The Huskies had two shots on goal in the overtime period but could not convert their scoring chances.
- Stonehill blocked 17 shots while the Huskies blocked 11. Kyle Heath blocked four shots for the Skyhawks while senior Nolan McElhaney (Natick, Mass./Long Island University) led Southern Maine with three.
- Penton had a strong showing in goal and made 17 saves while allowing no goals over the first two periods.
