How It Happened/Inside the Boxscore:
- Palmer made 17 saves in a scoreless first period while Brandon made 11.
- The Thoroughbreds drew first blood with an unassisted Kevin Urquhart goal 6:50 into the second period.
- Judd tied the game at 1-1 at the 11:43 mark of the period with freshman Jakub Suran (Liberec, Czech Republic) providing the assist.
- Skidmore answered quickly with a Jaden York goal 22 seconds later with Nick Cozzi and Matthew Monk assisting.
- Zach Frisk put the Thoroughbreds up 3-1 just over a minute and a half later.
- Skidmore scored three goals in the third period to extend the lead to 6-1.
- Judd scored his second goal of the contest in the third period with Cole Ouellette (Lewiston, Maine) recording his fourth assist of the season and Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) logging his second.
- 14 different players for Skidmore recorded a point with six different players scoring goals. York (one goal and one assist) and Jacob Franczak (two assists) each had multiple points.
- Everett Wardle went 15-1 on faceoffs for Skidmore.
