GORHAM, Maine. – The University of Southern Maine women's tennis dropped a home Little East Conference match to the undefeated Rhode Island College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.
 
At first doubles junior Maggie Brock (Plymouth, Mass./Plymouth North) and freshman Muriel Lattin (Litchfield, Maine) dropped their match 8-0 to Jenna Lisi and Lauren Macera and at second doubles sophomore Chloe McVetty (Windham, Maine) and freshman Madison Viveiros (Cranston, R.I./Cranston East) lost 8-1 to Serena Bobola and Amara Devine.
 
At first singles Brock was defeated 6-0, 6-0 by Lisi while Lattin was beaten by Macera by the same score at second doubles. McVetty and Viveiros also lost 6-0, 6-0 at third and fourth singles.
 
The Huskies will travel to Salem State University on Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
