GORHAM, Maine – Kyle Penton (Waltham, Mass./Albany Academy) made thirty saves and earned a shutout win in his first career start as a Husky as the University of Southern Maine Huskies won their fourth consecutive game, beating Johnson and Wales University 2-0 on Sunday in Gorham.

-Kinsey III scored fifteen minutes into the first period to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead over the Wildcats.
-The Wildcats had a number of good chances early on in the game, but Penton made 10 of his 30 saves in the first period to maintain the Huskies 1-0 lead.
-A scoreless second period saw a combined nine penalties and 21 shots on goal.
-In the third period, Penton made 13 saves to fend off a late attack from the Wildcats.
-The Huskies took advantage of an empty net with thirty seconds left in the game, as Tillotson scored to seal the deal for Southern Maine.
