GORHAM, Maine – Jake Klein (Minnetonka, Minn./Lake Forest Academy) and Quinn Doyle (Rochester, N.Y./Phillips Andover) had two assists each as the Colby College Mules took down the University of Southern Maine Huskies 4-2 on Tuesday night in Waterville.

How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-The Huskies opened scoring in Waterville as Austin Marini (Hyde Park, Mass./Catholic Memorial) took a pass from Derek Tillotson (Bow, NH) and found the back of the net.
-Palmer had a stellar first period in goal, making twelve saves. It took Colby until the nineteen minute mark in the first period to score after Palmer fended off a number of goal opportunities.
-Colby opened up the game early in the second period as John McElaney (Walpole, Mass./Dexter School) put the Mules up 2-1. His teammate Justin Grillo (Rockville Centre, N.Y./Loomis Chaffee) scored seven minutes into the third period to extend the lead to 3-1.
-Tyler Mitchell (Burlington, ON/Pomfret School) put the Huskies back in the game when he scored on a pass from Zach DesMarais (St. Cyrille, QC/École Secondaire de L'Odysee) with five minutes remaining in the third period.
-The Huskies opted for an empty net in an attempt to tie things up, but Colby took advantage of it and put the game away when Jack Sullivan (Elmhurst, Ill./Gilmour Academy) scored with ninety seconds remaining in the game.
