-Ziwa scored his first career goal as a Husky on a power play opportunity 15 minutes into the first period.
-The Beacons' points leader Chris Peters (Fairport, N.Y./Walpole Express) answered back not a full minute later with a power play goal of his own to even the score at one a piece.
-The Beacons and Huskies skated evenly for the remainder of the game with both Palmer and McAnanama making eight saves in the third period.
-The Huskies started overtime with a man up, but weren't able to take advantage of the power play.
-Gardiner scored midway through the overtime period to give the Huskies the win.
