Northfield, V.t. – The Norwich University men's ice hockey team defeated the University of Southern Maine Huskies 5-0 on Friday night in Northfield in a New England Hockey Conference Contest.

How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-Norwich got out to a fast start, taking advantage of a powerplay and getting on the board early 1-0 on a goal from Kenner.
-Philip Elgstam (Stockholm, Sweden/New Jersey Hitmen) put the cadets up 2-0 when he found the back of the night at 19:21 into the first period.
-In the second period, Nagle got on the board and Kenner netted his second goal of the night to extend the Cadets' lead to 4-0.
-Brent Rickett (Portland, Maine/Boston Jr. Rangers) scored the Cadets' final goal of the night at 6:44 into the third period.
