Each of the three USM student-athlete alumni participating in the Husky Pack Chat were outstanding student-athletes during their time in a Southern Maine uniform. A three-time William B. Captain of the women's basketball team, Howrigan served as president of SAAC and was a four-time William B. Wise Scholar Athlete.  In her final year, Howrigan was the USM's NCAA Woman of the Year nominee and was the department's Paula D. Hodgdon Leadership Award winner. As part of her role as Audit Associate at Johnson Lambert LLP, Howrigan mentors and trains new associates and interns on the audit practices.

During this online event, each of these former Husky standouts will share their insight on how their time in athletics has helped shape their careers, and reflect upon the highly sought after and transferable skills and traits USM student-athletes attain during their years in competition and practice.
