Huskies Travel to Rhode Island College on Saturday

            WATERVILLE, Maine -- The unbeaten Colby College Mules women's tennis team improved its record to 4-0 Thursday afternoon dispatching the University of Southern Maine Huskies 9-0 in a non-conference match.

            The Mules, ranked 16th in the latest ITA Northeast Regional poll, quickly grabbed a 3-0 lead sweeping the three doubles matches, and were just as impressive taking all six singles matches.  Sophomores Gabriella and Lydia Venditti (Mercer Island, Wash.) led the way sweeping the number one doubles and top two singles matches without dropping a game.

            The winless Huskies (0-3) return to action on Saturday (1:00 p.m.) traveling to Little East Conference rival Rhode Island College.  Colby faces regionally-ranked Babson College at home on Sunday (2:00 p.m.).
