2024: Named Second Team All-Little East Conference as an outfielder ... Played and started in all 41 games ... Hit .285 (35-for-123) with three doubles, 20 runs scored and 22 RBI ... Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 54 putouts and six assists.

2023: Named First Team All-Little East Conference as an outfielder ... Played and started in all 41 games, hitting a team-best .320 (40-for-125) ... Scored a team-high 18 runs and had a team-high 24 RBI ... Had eight doubles and a home run ... Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 38 putouts  ... 2022 William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete Award ... A three-time William B. Wise award winner ... Officer in Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 

2022: Named to the Little East Conference All-Academic Team ... Started in 40 games ... In 116 trips to the plate Shields recorded 16 runs, 27 hits,and 13 RBI's ... Saw 48 chances in the field resulting 48 putouts for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

2021: 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Division III Scholar Athlete  ... 2021 Little East Conference All-Rookie team ... Hit .303 (27-for-89) with 20 runs scored and 14 RBI ... Had five doubles and a triple ... Turned a pair of double plays with tremendous play from center field ... Had six multi-hit games ... 

Why USM: I loved the small town feel of USM.

Before USM: A three-sport student-athlete at Buckfield HS (softball, soccer, and basketball) ... Earned three varsity letters in each sport ... A three-year captain for the soccer and softball teams ... Served as team captain for basketball as a senior ... Earned All-Conference honors for soccer, basketball and softball as a senior ... Named the conference's Softball Player of the Year 

Personal: Graduated from USM with a bachelor's degree in Nursing in 2023 and is now pursing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Administration and Leadership ... Daughter of Jody and Keith Shields ... Has two siblings, Abby and Zach ... A member of the National Honor Society.
