CASCO, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's golf team won the team title on Wednesday afternoon at the John Queenan Memorial Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine at Point Sebago Golf Course. The Huskies finished with a score of 298 (+10). Huskies' junior
Will Farschon (Brunswick, Maine) had the lowest round of the day with a two-under-par 70 while playing for the Huskies' B team. Senior
Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) was the top performer for the A team with a 73 (+1) to place second. Farschon and Dillon each had four birdies to tie for the team lead with junior
Alex Grant (St. Albans, Maine/Nokomis Regional). Farschon tied with Grant for first place at last year's version of the event while playing for Southern Maine Community College.
Southern Maine's B team placed second with a 301 (+13).

Jaden Poirier (White River Junction, Vt./Hartford) tied for third after each shot two-over-par 74. Grant's score was the second lowest among the B team members. Freshman
SJ Welch (Newport, Maine/Nokomis Regional) tied for fifth with a 75 (+3). Each player had three birdies.

On the Course:
- Sophomore Keenan Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) and freshman Nick Harmon (Scarborough, Maine) were among a group of players tied for ninth with a 76 (+4). Harmon ranked third on the B team.
- Sophomore Joey Samson (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) tied for 29th with an 81 (+9)
- Junior Carter O'Connell (Monmouth, Maine/Monmouth Academy) played as an individual and placed 37th with an 83 (+11).
- Sophomore Ben Aucoin (Moncton, New Brunswick) tied for 38th with an 84 (+12).
- Junior Alex Fournier (Augusta, Maine/Cony) tied for 40th with an 85 (+13).
