Today's game is the 59th meeting between the University of Southern Maine and the University of New England. Southern Maine leads the overall series 35-17-7. USM and UNE battled to a scoreless draw in 2022, and UNE defeated Southern Maine 2-1 in 2023. The Huskies had a 3-1 win in 2024 and the 2025 contest was suspended and not completed due to weather.

How It Happened:

Striking the ball to the lower center of the net, Wagner came up with the save and the game headed to half at 0-0.
  • USM had the first two shots of the second half, both on target, from seniors Nathan Brown (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Cole Johnson (Orange, Mass.) but both were collected by Nor'easter goalkeeper Landon Dominiski.
  • The Huskies put three of their five shots on goal in the final five minutes of the game, but were unable to find the winner as Dominski finished the game with five saves to keep the score level.
