BIDDEFORD, Maine – Sophomore
Conner Smith (Durham, Maine/Freeport) and the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's cross country team each won titles on Friday at Ron Ouellette Invitational hosted by the University of New England. The Huskies won the team title after taking nine of top 10 spots led by Smith, who won the 5k event with a time of 15:51.3. Sophomore
Evan Schneider (Old Orchard Beach, Maine/Old Orchard Beach) placed second with a time of 16:12.7, while sophomore
Harry Dunne (Hollis Center, Maine/Bonny Eagle) finished third at 6:51.2.

Ethan Cadorette (Biddeford, Maine) rounded out the top-five by placing fifth with a time of 17:11.4.

- Senior Cyrus Evans (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) finished sixth at 17:19.2.
- Sophomores Camden Cyr (Kittery, Maine/Traip Academy) and Gavin Gerry (Gray, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) placed seventh and eighth with times of 17:21.9 and 17:26.5.
- senior Aidan Pecoraro (Westbrook, Maine) and junior Jack Tassinari (Wilbraham, Mass./Minnechaug Regional) and placed ninth and 10th at 17:47.8 and 17:58.0
- Senior Kyle Hartford (South Portland, Maine) placed 14th with a time of 19:24.5.
