Southern Maine Drops Road Match at Bowdoin 3-0

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Zoe Ryu recorded a game-leading 14 kills as the Bowdoin College Polar Bears defeated the University of Southern Maine Huskies in three sets on Wednesday evening in a non-conference women's volleyball match. Senior Anyelis Hernandez (Lawrence, Mass.) led the Huskies with seven points on six kills and a solo block.
 
Sophomore Taylor Joyal (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North) and freshman Sofia Daoud (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) tied for the team lead in digs with seven each. Sophomore Reese Helisek (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional) recorded four assists to lead the team.
 
Bowdoin's Anna Yeh led all players in digs with nine. Cameron Shelly had 16 assists for the Polar Bears.
