CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior
Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's track & field team placed first in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 53.02 seconds on Thursday evening at the MIT Final Qualifier. His time is the sixth-fastest in program history.

Freshman
Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine) also competed on Thursday and placed third in the shot put (16.78m) and sixth in the discus (50.13m) on Thursday at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier in Illinois.

Senior
Treshaun Brown (Kittery, Maine) also competed at the MIT meet and placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.05.

The performance list for the 2026 NCAA Division III 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Track & Field National Championships For each men's individual event contested, including the decathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes will be accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams will be accepted into the competition.

Paradis currently ranks 18th in the shot put with a season-best mark of 17.25m as results from the final day of qualifying continue to come in from across the country. Cahill's performance moved him into the top 30 nationally.
