Cierra Hill (Pembroke, N.H./Pembroke Academy) each recorded seven points for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's lacrosse team in a 20-2 win over the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs on Saturday. D'Appolonia scored six goals and had one assist and DeLisle and Hill each had three goals and four assists. With her assist, D'Appolonia broke the program single season record for assists in a season with 32. The win is Southern Maine's 13th of the season which ties last year's team for the most in a season in program history.

Hill and graduate student
Anna Byers (Milford, Ct./Joseph A. Foran) also reached major career milestones. Hill caused four turnovers to become the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career turnovers. Byers, who scored two goals and had two assists, reached 100 career points and is the 23rd player in program history to reach the century mark in points.

The Southern Maine offense also had five goals and an assist from junior
Eliza Pattershall (Readfield, Maine/Maranacook) and a goal by freshman
Sam Poulin (Gray, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester). Junior
Ella Burnell (Biddeford, Maine) also assisted on two goals.

How It Happened:
- D'Appolonia scored four times as the Huskies scored nine goals in the first quarter. Byers and DeLisle had two each and Hill also had a goal. Byers and Hill each assisted on two goals. D'Appolonia and Burnell also had assists.
- The Huskies scored four more times in the second quarter to take a 13-0 lead into halftime. Pattershall accounted for two of those goals with the other two coming from Hill and D'Appolonia. Three of the goals came in the first five minutes of the quarter.
- Pattershall scored two more goals in the third quarter and DeLisle and Hill each had a goal and two assists as the Huskies outscored the Corsairs 4-1. D'Appolonia also scored for the Huskies. The UMass Dartmouth goal came from Carleigh Swenson with 56 seconds left in the quarter.
- An up goal by Poulin and another score by Pattershall put the Huskies ahead 20-1 with 12 minutes left in the final quarter. The Corsairs added an up goal of their own from Maddy Allen to make the score 20-2.
