2025: Named IWLCA Second Team All-Region ... Named the LEC Rookie of the Year and First Team All-LEC ... Played in 14 games and started in 12 ... Recorded a team-leading 57 goals, 73 points and 82 draw controls ... Placed second on the team in ground balls with 43 and caused 23 turnovers ... Set new single-game records for goals (11) and points (13) in a game in a win against Clark (3/19/2025) ... Recorded points in every game that she played in and had multiple points in 12 games ... Scored three or more goals in nine games ... Recorded four goals and five assists in a win over UMass Dartmouth in the first round of LEC Tournament (4/29/2025) ... Scored seven goals and had one assist in a win against Eastern Connecticut State in addition to recording 13 draw controls (4/26/2025) ... Scored 22 free-position goals ... Team captain.

Why USM: USM has the community, opportunity, and diversity that allow people to choose a path they are truly interested in and cultivate their abilities. I knew I wanted to come back to New England and be closer to home after being out West, so I couldn't pass up the charm that USM offers. 

Before USM: Transferred to USM from the University of Colorado where she was a member of the lacrosse team ... Played four years of varsity lacrosse, soccer and basketball at Yarmouth ... Broke the school record for goals scored in a single game with 10 ... Helped Yarmouth reach the state championship in three of her four seasons and won a title as a junior in 2021 ... Scored over 100 career goals at Yarmouth.

Academic Awards & Honors: Named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for the 2025 season ... Named to the Spring 2025 LEC All-Academic Team ... Named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 LEC Academic Honor Rolls.

Personal: Graduated from USM in December of 2025 with a degree Communications with an honors program minor and is now working towards her Master's in 
Digital Marketing Analytics ... Daughter of Seb D'Appolonia and Chris Strong  ... Has two siblings, Sara and John.
