BOSTON – Senior
Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's track & field team placed third in the shot put at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships with a mark of 13.05m. Boudreau's performance earned the Huskies six points in the team standings to help them tie for 17th.

Boudreau was the only field athlete to compete for the Huskies. Junior
Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) placed 18th in the 3000 meters with a personal-best time of 10:36.93 to move into fifth on the program's leaderboard. Sophomore
Saya Breiting-Brown (Portland, Maine/Deering) placed 21st in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.63 seconds.

The list of participants for 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced tomorrow shall be available via the NCAA website (ncaa.org) by 7 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow evening. For each woman's individual event contested, including the pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes will be accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams will be accepted into the competition.

Zoe Barnes (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) ranks fourth in the shot put with a mark of 14.32m.
