How It Happened:
- The Huskies scored quickly with a breakaway goal by Murphy on their first shot just 2:16 into the game. Donahue and junior Ellie Eigner (Bowling Green, Ohio/ South Lyon East) recorded the assists. Madison Anderson tied the game for Norwich with just under 10 minutes left in the period. Norwich killed three penalties in the period.
- Norwich finally converted on a power play with a goal by Dani Ammons with 5:48 left to go. The Huskies tied the game with a shorthanded goal by MacLeod after she forced a turnover with 1:05 left in the period.
- Boyer scored both Norwich goals in the third period. The first came seconds after a Southern Maine penalty expired in the opening minute of the period then added a second goal with 14:40 left on the clock.
