Cole Brennan (Sussex, N.J./ Pomfret School).

How It Happened:
- Castleton had a goal from Credick Theodore just 28 seconds into the game. The hosts added a second goal with just over five minutes left in the period when Luke Chakrabarti found the back of the net.
- The Spartans scored four times in the second period to put the game out of reach. Emmett McHardy scored the first 2:51 into the period. Morin then replaced Badgett in goal. Reid then scored a minute later to make the lead 4-0.
- Arend put Castleton's shutout attempt to an end with his fifth goal of the year 11:33 into the second with Brennan logging with 11th helper of the season. Castleton then closed out the period with goals from Josef Vyvial and Reid to take a 6-1 lead.
- Reid and Coyle added goals for Castleton in the final period.
