How It Happened:

- Drummey evened the score with his second goal of the season 1:54 into the second period by sliding the puck under the pads of the Beacons' goalie after a pass from Arend. The Huskies took the lead less than two minutes later when MacDuff cashed in on the rebound of a shot by Aucoin.
- Kurtas tied the game with his second goal of the night with 4:05 left in the period with the Beacons on the power play. Chris Repmann had the assist on the goal.
- Repmann then scored a goal of his own with 4:48 left to play on another power play opportunity for UMass Boston. The goal was assisted by Jazz Krivtsov, who nearly doubled the lead minutes later on a shot that hit the post.
- The Huskies pulled Morin in the final minute, but took a smart penalty to prevent an empty net goal with just 44 seconds left. The Beacons won the next two faceoffs to close out the win.
