Caroline Thompson (Crapaud, Prince Edward Island/Mount Academy) each scored goals as the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's ice hockey team defeated the Keene State Owls 2-0 on Friday night in Little East Conference action.

Gracelyn Koch (Maple Grove, New Brunswick) assisted on Thompson's goal. Donahue's goal was unassisted.

Donauhe has now recorded points in each of the last four games, while Changon, Koch and Thompson have points in each of the last three games.

How It Happened:
- Donahue skated onto a loose puck and blasted home a slapshot to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead with 5:17 left in the first period. The goal is her fourth goal of the season.
- The Huskies outshot the Owls 10-1 in the second period, but the score remained 1-0 after the first 40 minutes of action.
- Thompson made the lead 2-0 3:55 into the third period after Changon found her space to work. Thompson then tucked the puck under the crossbar for her third goal of the season.

- The Huskies had a 33-13 lead in shots on goal.
- Southern Maine led 23-19 in faceoff wins. Sophomore Joely Power (Clarenville, Newfoundland/Mount Academy) led the Huskies with six wins on 11 attempts. Koch, Chagnon and fifth-year senior Jillian Jackson (Fredericton, New Brunswick/Ontario Hockey Academy) also won at least half their faceoffs.
- Neither team scored on the power play as the Huskies were 0-for-4 and Keene State went 0-for-1.
