Gracelyn Koch (Maple Grove, New Brunswick) scored two goals and graduate student
Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt./Rice Memorial) had two assists for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's ice hockey team in a 4-2 Little East Conference win over the Plymouth State Panthers. The Huskies scored three times in the third period after Plymouth State went up 2-1 late in the second.

Caroline Thompson (Crapaud, Prince Edward Island/Mount Academy) also had multiple points with a goal and an assist. Junior
Shannon Murphy (Pembroke, Mass./Brewster Academy) scored the game-winner goal in the third period.

Today's game was the 38th meeting between the Panthers and Huskies. The Huskies lead the series 28-9-1. The Huskies took the season series 2-1 with today's win.

How It Happened:
- Koch kicked off the game with a goal 16 seconds into the contest by driving home the rebound of a shot by Chagnon. Hughes also assisted on the goal. The Panthers tied the game with 5:47 left on a power play goal by Emily Gerrie.
- Jacqueline Martin gave Plymouth State a 2-1 lead with 2:23 left in the second period with a goal that was assisted by Laura Castronova and Lisi Palmer.
- Thompson tied the game with 12:44 left when she snuck the puck past Lehner. Senior Olivia Stewart (Fredericton, New Brunswick/Mount Academy) and junior Ellie Eigner (Bowling Green, Ohio/ South Lyon East) were credited with the assists. With 3:59 left to play, sophomore Greta Grant (Brownfield, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) dumped the puck off the board where it was picked up by Murphy with empty space between herself and goalie. Thompson also assisted on the goal.
- Koch added an empty-net goal with 1:32 left that was assisted by Chagnon and senior Audrey Donahue (Timberlea, Nova Scotia/Kimball Union Academy).

Inside The Stats:
- The Huskies lead 35-24 in shots on goal, while the Panthers had a 31-23 lead in faceoff wins.
- The Panthers shutout the Huskies on the power play as the Huskies went 0-for-6 with the extra skater. Plymouth State converted on one of their four power plays.
- Donahue and sophomore Josie Arrants (Rock Springs, Wy./Lovell Academy) each blocked three shots for the Huskies.
- Chagnon now had five multiple-point games on the season. Koch has four and this is her first multiple-goal game.
