DURHAM, N.H. – After trailing 1-0 through the first half, the University of New Hampshire Wildcats posted four second-half goals to defeat the University of Southern Maine Huskies 4-1 in a non-conference women's soccer game Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.

Riley Reitchel (Palermo, Maine/Erskine Academy) scored her second goal in as many games to give the Huskies the unlikely 1-0 lead in the first half. Reitchel hit a shot to the lower right corner of the net to complete the assist from senior
Cierra Hill (Pembroke, NH/Pembroke Academy) in the 14
th minute.

Today's game marked the first meeting between the UNH Wildcats and the University of Southern Maine Huskies. The Wildcats are an NCAA Division I program that competes in the America East conference.
How It Happened:
- Despite outshooting the Huskies 11-3 in the opening half (6-1 on goal), the Wildcats found themselves behind Southern Maine at the half 1-0. Freshman goalkeeper Halle Brown (Mooresville, Indiana) made six first half saves to make Reitchel's goal stand.
- The Wildcats broke through for the equalizer in the 55th minute as Brooke Pearson scored her second goal of the season for UNH.
- UNH took the lead for good in the 67th minute on a goal from Elizabeth Finn. Finn finished the game with a goal and assist for the Wildcats, assisting on the equalizer and scoring the eventual game-winning tally.
- UNH added two more goals in the 71st and 85th minute for the 4-1 final. Brown made five second half saves for the Huskies, and finished the game with 11 stops.
