Averi Baker scored the equalizer for the Eagles with a woman-up goal with Laela Martinez assisting. The Huskies ended the quarter on a 3-0 run thanks to a goal by Hill and two free-position goals by Pattershall, the second being a woman-up goal in the closing minute of the quarter.
- Husson cut the lead down to a goal by outscoring the Huskies 3-1 in the second quarter. Kate Boehmcke had two of those goals and the other came from Baker. Hill had the lone Husky goal in the quarter.
- Southern Maine got the lead up to 8-4 with a 3-0 run over the first seven minutes of the new half. Bechard, Kinney and Byers accounted for the scores with Kinney also assisting on Bechard's tally. Husson got back within two goals with back-to-back goals by Martinez and Baker in less than a minute. However, the Huskies quickly countered with another goal from Hill plus a final-minute score by Gatchell to take a 10-6 lead into the final quarter.
- Husson outscored the Huskies 3-2 in the last quarter but could not dig themselves out of the hole. Boehmcke had a pair of goals in the quarter for the Eagles.
