How It Happened:
- The Warriors opened the game on a 5-0 run over the first five minutes. Mabb accounted for three of those goals and assisted on another. Those goals were the only ones of the first quarter.
- Connor Chirico made the lead 6-0 the first couple of minutes of the second quarter. Gaulrapp ended the shutout with 3:10 left in the half before Devin Greene scored for the Warriors 57 seconds later.
- Eastern Connecticut added seven more goals in the third quarter while Smith scored for the Huskies with junior Rhys Bridges (Oakland, Maine/Messalonskee).
- The Warriors outscored the Huskies 3-1 in the final quarter with Coley accounting for the Huskies' goal from freshman Rodrigo Araujo (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston).

- The Warriors led 35-12 in shots on goal and 43-20 in ground balls. Logan Pych led all players with six ground balls. Sophomore Nick Shevchenko (Gray, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) led the Huskies with five and won seven faceoffs.
