  • Coley scored a man-up goal early in the third quarter with junior Rhys Bridges (Oakland, Maine/Messalonskee) providing the assist before the Spartans ripped off another 4-0 run. Evarts, Kozlowski, Cam Frankenhoff and Braydon Goddard scored the goals. Goddard also assisted on Frankenhoff's goal while Jordan Damske had assists on the goals by Evarts and Goddard.
  • Dietz replaced Wolfahrt in the second half and made seven saves in the third quarter. The Spartans also rang the post four times during the quarter.
  • Each side scored one goal in the final quarter. Freshman Zach Smith (Waterbury, Vt./Harwood Union) scored the Huskies' goal with senior Andrew James (Portland, Maine/Deering) feeding him the pass and Goddard had the Castleton goal.
