How It Happened:
- Margueritte Donahue converted on an early power-play opportunity 4:16 into the first period with McKenzie and Esposito assisting on the goal. McKim made 11 saves after that to keep the score at 1-0 after the first 20 minutes. Junior Caroline Thompson (Victoria, Prince Edward Island/Mount Academy) had a shot hit the post in the period.
- Esposito doubled the lead 13:24 into the second with an assist by Gina Richard.
- The Seahawks scored again on the power-play 11 seconds into the third period with Esposito and McKenzie teaming up for the goal.
- A Salve Regina penalty put the Huskies on the power-play 20 seconds later and Eigner broke the shutout with her sixth goal of the season. The Huskies had three more power-plays in the period but could not get another shot past Hannafan. Â
