BOSTON – Sophomore
Isa Moustakas (Berlin, Vt./U-32) ran a personal-best time 57.83 seconds in the 400 meters to move into fourth in program history in the event at the TRACK at New Balance Early Bird Invitational in Boston on Saturday. Members of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's track & field team took the top three spots in the event as senior
Alexis Karantza (Westbrook, Maine) placed second at 1:00.57 and freshman
Addy Burkhardt (Lisbon Falls, Maine/Lisbon) finished third with a time of 1:00.72.

Senior
Janiah Young (Perkinsville, Vt./Windsor) also had a top three event finish by placing third in the 200 meters with a time of 25.66 seconds. Her time was the fastest in her heat.

A trio of Huskies, seniors
Lucy Depolito (North Andover, Mass.) and
AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) and junior
Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle), competed in the 5000m. Catalano turned in the best time of the group at 18:36.54, a personal best, to place 23rd. Depolito placed 34th with a time of 19:39.74. Limberger ran a time of 20:18.29 to place 39th.

The Huskies will compete again next Saturday as they host the USM Alumni Open in the Costello Sports Complex at noon.
