KEENE, N.H. – Freshman Loci Morin (Drummondville, Quebec) stopped all 33 shots that he faced in a 3-0 win for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's ice hockey team over the Keene State College Owls to secure the first shutout of his intercollegiate career. Junior
Kayde Kinaschuk (Calgary, Alberta) extended his scoring streak to three games with a tally in the third period, while senior
Conor Donovan (Nahant, Mass./Swampscott) and freshman
Ben Aucoin (Moncton, New Brunswick) also notched goals. The Huskies also had a two-point game from sophomore
Owen Arend (Palmetto, Fla./Kents Hill School) with a pair of assists. This is the second multiple-point game of his career and his first with multiple assists.
Senior
Cole Brennan (Sussex, N.J./ Pomfret School) picked up an assist in the game as well with a helper on Aucoin's score. Junior
Ethan Hoover (Hershey, Penn.), a transfer in first season at USM, logged his first point as a Husky with an assist on Kinashuck's goal. Freshman
Cam Gwatkin (Lyndonville, Vt./Proctor Academy) also assisted on the goal.
Aucoin, Brennan, Donovan, Gwatkin and Kinaschuk have all logged at least one point in each of the last three games, all wins by the Huskies.

How It Happened:
- Hagan found a crashing Donovan in front of the net to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead 11:14 into the first period. Arrend also had an assist on the goal. Each team went 0-for-2 on the power play in the period.
- Aucoin converted on the power play in the closing minute of the second period after taking the puck all the way down the ice and ripping a shot past Skelton.
- The Huskies' third goal came after Hoover won a faceoff and Gwatkin blasted a shot that hit a Keene State player in the skate. Kinaschuk then collected the rebound, spun and fired the puck into the goal for his third goal in as many games.
- Morin made 12 saves in each of the first two periods and nine in the third to match his career-high with 33 stops.

- The Huskies killed seven penalties in the game and have not allowed a power play goal during their current three-game winning streak.
