GORHAM, Maine – Senior captain Olivia Stewart (Fredericton, New Brunswick/Mount Academy) scored 15 seconds into the overtime period to give the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's ice hockey team a 2-1 Little East Conference win over the Vermont State University Castleton Spartans on Friday evening. The game-winner is the seventh of her career and her first goal of the season. Fellow senior Caroline Thompson (Crapaud, Prince Edward Island/Mount Academy) assisted on the game-winner.

Freshman Charlotte Hughes (Mississauga, Ontario) also scored for the Huskies while junior goalie Maggie Jones (St. John's, Newfoundland/Mount Academy) stopped 29 shots to earn the win.
