How It Happened:
- Each goalie made 10 saves in a scoreless first period.
- Hall's goal came as part of a barrage of shots by the Gulls and broke the 0-0 tie. Jo Wimler and Lilly Corso were credited with assists on the goal. Jones then stopped the next 13 shots that she faced in the period.
- Jones made another 11 saves, but the Huskies could not find an equalizer.
