Kylee Eubanks-Hemme (Rosamond, Cali.) recorded a game-leading 16 kills and added a career-high 20 digs to help the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 3-1 win on Wednesday night over the Thomas College Terriers. Freshman
Reese Helisek (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional) also had a double-double with 35 assists and 16 digs. Six Huskies reached double figures in digs in the match as the Huskies set a program record for digs in a four-set match with 120.

Taylor Joyal (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North) recorded 36 digs in the match to lead all players. Her total is the third highest in program history for a four-set match. The program record for digs in a four-set match is 43 and was set twice by Meg Bristol in 2003 and tied by her in 2004. Joyal also finished second on the team in kills with eight.

Mariah Eaton (West Yarmouth, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth Regional) set a career-high with 20, her first time reaching double digits. Freshman
Lizzy Harbester (Plympton, Mass./Silver Lake Regional) and sophomore
Casey Murillo (League City, Texas/Clear Falls) also reached double figures for the first time. Harbester had 12 kills and Murillo logged 10.

How It Happened:
- Thomas pulled out a 25-20 win in the first set.
- Southern Maine evened the match with a 25-18 win in the second set after pulling away with a late 5-0 run.
- The Huskies went ahead 2-1 with a narrow 25-23 win in the third set. Eubanks-Hemme had five kills in the set for the Huskies.
- Eubanks-Hemme added another five kills in the fourth set as the Huskies won 25-23 to take the match. The set featured an 8-0 run to allow the Huskies to take a 16-13 lead.
