KEENE, N.H. – The University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's volleyball team went 0-2 on Saturday at a tri-match hosted by Keene State College. The Huskies fell to Keene State 3-0 in their first match before dropping the next match 3-1 to Regis College.

Kylee Eubanks-Hemme (Rosamond, Cali.) led the Huskies in digs in the match against Keene State with seven and placed second on the team in the match against Regis with 11. Freshman
Reese Helisek (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional) recorded 33 assists on the day to go along with 17 digs and five kills.

How It Happened:
- The Owls broke away from a 10-10 tie with a 6-0 run and then put the first set out of reach with a 7-0 run on their way to a 25-13 win.
- Keene State got off to another fast start in the second set and took the set 25-11.
- The third set ended 25-12 in favor of the Owls.

Today's match was the first between Regis and Southern Maine since October 19, 2019 when the Pride won 3-0. The series is now tied at 2-2.

How It Happened:
- Regis led wire-to-wire in the first set and won 25-9.
- Southern Maine responded by taking the second set 25-14. The Huskies had a 5-0 run after the Pride scored the two first points of the set. Southern Maine remained ahead from that point on and had a 7-0 run towards the end of the set that featured two solo blocks and a block assist by freshman Mariah Eaton (West Yarmouth, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth Regional).
- Regis ended the third set on a 10-1 run to take a 2-1 lead in the match with a 25-16 win.
- The Pride closed out the match with a 25-17 win in the fourth set to take the match 3-1.

- Helisek led the Huskies in digs with 14 and assists with 22 for her eighth double-double of the season. She has recorded 20 or more assists in eight matches.
- Harbester had eight kills to pace the Huskies. Joyal and Eaton each added five.
