GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Department of Athletics and Recreation is excited to announce that the USM Ice Arena will be hosting monthly Open Skate sessions for the Fall and Winter of 2025-26. Public Skate times are available to all members of the USM community and public.
 
The first Public Open Skate will take place on Wednesday, October 22 from 12:00-2:00pm. The Public Open Skate events cost $5 for members of the public and are free for members of the USM community. Free skate rentals will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis courtesy of the Gorham Recreation Department. Regular parking fees will apply.
